High quality snow chains manufacturer
Weissenfels has always been a great name in the production of
chains, particularly snow chains. High-production and quality volume of
the machines obtained through the involvement of the personelle make the
Weissenfels chains a high-quality product known and appreciated all over
the world.
In addition to the considerable investment in the high-output production
system, great efforts have been made in the field of researches and developments
not only for auto-vehicles snow chains but also for heavy-equipment-vehicles
chains.
Weissenfels is a name that, to whom knows just a little bit the history
of region Friuli, recalls the name of the famous and international well-known
steel factory.
Here the iron-forging activity goes back to XIII century and a lot of
smith-activities were located in S. Leonhard (then Weissenfels) from the
beginning of the following century; the 9th October 1404, Fredric the
Earl of Ortenburg enfeoffed Bartolo Consuram with a mill from this document
we also get that on the rivers of Weissenfels there were mills already
before; after that other enfeoffments have been allowed by the earls of
Cilli, till 1452, when in a document of Ulrich Earl of Cilli we find for
the first time the name Weissenfels as location of iron mills.
In the XV century the domain was administrated by the Earls of Ortenburg
and then by the Earls of Cilli, until 1456, after the death of the last
of Cilli, when it became administrated directly by the Habsburg, as "Pawn-domain",
under the lead of various personages and administrators.
From the first Weissenfels house's register datet 1498 we can see the
locations of the mills. The locations have never changed; the management
of the country continues in similar way until the end of XVIII century:
after the Napoleonic period, that brought a lot of confusion for different
years in this land, with the Restaurateur everything became as before:
the factory continued on an artisan level, but developing, until the end
of XIX century, when (in 1897) the First Shares Company was funded.
The most recent historical moments, both the troubles of the First World
War and the successive changes (i.e. the name to Fusine in Valromana)
are quite well-known; at the end the modern industry of Weissenfels has
picked up an important heritage of several centuries and has become a
first level industrial reality all over the world.
SNOW CHAINS - Weissenfels, in the continuous research to satisfy
customers needs, present Klack & go 9 Plus, evolution of the well-known
and appreciated Klack & go 9, on which a revolutionary quick release
system has been mounted.
This extremely easy device allows dismounting of the chain with just
a few movements and without putting the hands behind the snow. All of
this without making chain heavier, without complicating mounting operations
and not exceeding max. inside clearance 9 mm.
SNOW CHAINS FOR TRUCK AND BUSES - Transport "T"
is new Weissenfels product in the heavy transport snow chains field. Distinguishing
marks of this snow chains are: lightness, easy handling, mounting and
high quality alloy steel square section links. A high number of symmetrical
rhombus pattern guarantees to the chain a continuous and safe gripping
ability on any asphalt roads covered by snow and ice. Transport "T"
ensures excellent traction performances, road-holding and braking. Furthermore,
the chain life is extended because of the possibility to reverse the chain
on the tyre. A shining orange painting on its mounting elements allows
their easy finding also in low-visibility conditions.
