Quality

Weissenfels is a business unit of Walmec S.p.A. certified in accordance with standard UNI EN ISO 9001. Weissenfels has build up a wide experience in the metallurgical and mechanical engineering sectors over the past 30 years. Quality is the fundamental attitude of the whole company process starting from sales and the product/process developed by R&D to the manufacturing and logistics. The special attention devoted to the design, the research of the materials and the constant improvement of the manufacturing have led to total renewal of the product range.

ÖNORM homologation

Weissenfels snow chains for cars (classes N1,M1,O1, O2) are homologated according to the Austrian Standard (ÖNORM V 5117), which is also valid for the Italian law (Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation - Law10 May 2011). Weissenfels snow chains for trucks and buses (classes N2,N3,M2,M3) are homologated according to the Austrian Standard (ÖNORM V 5119).

TÜV certification

Weissenfels snow chains were also awarded the TÜV certification that guarantees monitoring of the production system as well as reliability, quality and user safety.
